ELKA-Torantriebe was founded in 1979. Starting with garage door openers, the first original ELKA-product, the range was continuously extended and now includes swing gate openers, slide gate openers, and barriers systems.

New products are thoroughly tested on its own test area before being released for sale. Gate openers and barrier systems are the major part of the ELKA production.
